MELIMELI is a Swedish interior design brand offering furniture and home accessories for everyday living spaces. Founded by Amelia Widell in 2015, the brand combines Scandinavian design sensibility with a focus on considered, functional pieces. Alongside its online store, MELIMELI operates a flagship in Stockholm and a second location in London.
From two sites to one
MELIMELI previously ran its online business across two separate WooCommerce sites. Working with Iggy Agency, Junipeer's partner agency, the brand consolidated both into a single Shopify store. As part of that migration, Junipeer was brought in to connect Shopify with Fortnox - managing orders, invoices, and the payments flow between the two systems without manual handling.
The integration
The setup connects Shopify with Fortnox, with Junipeer as the integration layer between commerce and finance. When an order is placed in the Shopify store, the relevant data moves automatically into Fortnox. Invoices are created, payments are recorded, and the finance side has an accurate view without anyone moving data by hand.
"Merging two separate webshops into one Shopify store was a heavy technical project. The last thing I wanted was to worry about the accounting on top of everything else. So when Iggy suggested Junipeer as the integration layer between Shopify and Fortnox, I didn't hesitate for a moment, and the result more than justified that decision. That matters to us: we care about our customers, and the more we simplify the work behind the scenes, the more we can focus on the things that actually shape their experience with MELIMELI."

Built for growth
For a brand running both a physical store and an online channel, keeping financial administration aligned with e-commerce operations from the start reduces friction and error risk. MELIMELI plans to add another integration to its stack through Junipeer, and the current setup is built to adapt to the business's future expansion.
