Why connect Shopify and Fortnox?
Running an e-commerce business on Shopify while managing accounting in Fortnox means manual data entry between the two systems. This leads to errors, delays, and wasted time.
With Junipeer, you can automate the entire flow:
- Orders from Shopify appear in Fortnox automatically - Inventory levels stay in sync across both systems - Customer data flows seamlessly between platforms
Setting up the integration
The setup process takes about 15 minutes and requires no technical knowledge.
Step 1: Connect your Shopify store
Log in to your Junipeer dashboard and click "Add connector". Select Shopify and authorize Junipeer to access your store data.
Step 2: Connect Fortnox
Next, add Fortnox as a connector. You'll need your Fortnox API credentials — see our credential guide for details.
Step 3: Configure data flows
Choose which data to sync:
- Orders — new Shopify orders create invoices in Fortnox - Products — product catalog stays synchronized - Inventory — stock levels update in real-time - Customers — customer records are matched and synced
Step 4: Test and go live
Run a test sync to verify everything works. Check the sync logs for any mapping issues, then activate continuous synchronization.
