FDT / Smart - File based

FDT / Smart is a point-of-sale (POS) and retail system from the Swedish software company FDT. Alongside in-store sales it also includes some ERP functions, and retailers use it to manage articles, stock and prices in one place. Junipeer's FDT / Smart connector is file-based: instead of a live API, data is exchanged through files. Junipeer reads the article, stock and price data that FDT / Smart provides and delivers orders as files for FDT / Smart to import. With Junipeer, FDT / Smart can supply articles, stock levels and prices to e-commerce platforms, ERP systems and warehouse systems, while orders from other channels are stored in FDT / Smart — so your stores and your other systems work from the same data.

Junipeer retrieves articles, stock levels and prices from FDT / Smart and passes them on to connected systems that can receive that data, such as an e-commerce platform, an ERP or a warehouse system. In the other direction, Junipeer stores orders in FDT / Smart, so orders from your other sales channels reach the POS without manual entry. All exchange with FDT / Smart is file-based, and which flows are available in a specific integration depends on what the connected system supports.
