Stockholm, 29 October 2026 - Junipeer, the Nordic e-commerce integration platform, today launches Junipeer MCP. Companies can now connect AI assistants like Claude and Cursor to their Junipeer integrations and the business systems behind them, and control, troubleshoot and fix them by simply asking.
When an order fails to reach the business system, someone has to dig through logs and settings, or file a support ticket and wait. With Junipeer MCP, the same question can be asked in plain language in the team's existing AI app, and the answer comes from real-time data.
Built for small teams
Until now, MCP has mainly been something for large enterprises with resources to build secure AI connections themselves. But most companies are small: in Sweden, 96 percent of all companies have between 0 and 9 employees. Junipeer MCP gives small e-commerce teams the same capabilities, without code.
Two ways to use it
Workspace MCP gives the AI access to the company's integrations in Junipeer: sync status, errors, settings and the ability to re-run failed syncs.
System MCP gives the AI access to data in connected systems, for example overdue invoices in Fortnox or payouts from your payment solution. Currently available for 21 systems, including Fortnox, with more added continuously.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect securely to other programs. Junipeer MCP works with Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other AI apps that support the standard.
The company retains control
Every call goes through Junipeer's servers, which ensure the AI only does what the API key allows - from read-only access to making changes. With read-only access, any attempt by the AI to change something is denied. The AI app never sees passwords or login credentials for the connected systems.
"In e-commerce, small teams often run large operations. When an integration stops working, there is rarely an IT department to call. With Junipeer MCP, anyone on the team can ask their AI what happened and get it fixed, and that is an enormous advantage for a company with five employees."
- Jonas Warngard, CEO and co-founder, Junipeer
Early customer examples
The underwear brand Bread & Boxers uses Junipeer MCP to get an overview of the entire chain, from webshop to warehouse and bookkeeping.
"As an eCom Manager I always try to keep our e-commerce team one step ahead, and I put a lot of focus on optimising our back office. Junipeer has long been the backbone there: webshop, warehouse, finance and payments go through them, from Centra and Norce, to NoWaste (3PL), Fortnox and Kustom. When we got access to their MCP I tested it right away. I asked my AI to go through all our integrations and within seconds got a picture of what is running, how often and whether anything had failed. What would otherwise have required logins, logs and a developer became a question in plain language. And when something does not add up I can easily ask why an order has not reached Fortnox and get the answer in plain text: which order, what happened and what needs to be done. For the first time I can ask questions about the entire chain (for both B2B and B2C) in one and the same conversation. It shows how technically advanced the Junipeer team is, and that an integration platform does not just work with AI - it gets better with it."
- Tim Comet, eCommerce Manager, Bread & Boxers
The e-commerce agency Omniarch uses Junipeer MCP both for troubleshooting and for setting up integrations for their clients.
"For me, the ability to work with Junipeer's integrations via MCP has solved two important things. The first is troubleshooting. For example, when a client's orders suddenly stop reaching Fortnox I can now via MCP both find the error and fix it directly, instead of looking through logs. The second is setup. Recently I set up a complex order integration between Centra, Fortnox and Kustom in 30 minutes, something that previously took days or weeks. For us at Omniarch that now means we can spend most of our time on the client's business instead of on the technology behind it."
- Micke Raittila, Senior E-com Consultant & Project Lead, Omniarch
The accounting firm Saldo Redovisning has connected it to their Fortnox data.
"When we heard that Junipeer had launched their MCP we wanted to test it, as we are always looking for ways to work smarter for our clients. It only took a short while to connect it to our Fortnox database, and it worked well right from the start. As an accounting firm we see great potential in being able to ask questions directly against the accounting data and get underlying information faster, and we plan to connect more of our clients' companies going forward. Junipeer's MCP has become a real asset for us."
- Alex Chamoun, Deputy CEO, Saldo Redovisning
