Integrating Visma ERP with ecommerce

How to connect Visma.net, Visma Business, or Visma eEkonomi with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and other ecommerce platforms.

Which Visma product are you connecting?

Visma offers several ERP products, and the integration setup differs depending on which one you use:

Visma.net is the cloud-based ERP for mid-sized businesses. Through Junipeer, you can sync orders, customers, shipments, payouts, and refunds from your ecommerce platform to Visma.net, and retrieve articles, prices, stock levels, customer data, and company information back. This is a live connector with full bidirectional flows.

Visma Business is the on-premise ERP popular among Nordic manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. Integration with Visma Business is available on request through Junipeer.

Visma Business NXT is the cloud version of Visma Business. Also available on request.

Visma eEkonomi is the lighter accounting product for smaller businesses. Integration is available with selected ecommerce platforms.

What data flows between your ecommerce platform and Visma?

The core data flows follow the same pattern regardless of which ecommerce platform you use (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Centra, or others):

From ecommerce to Visma: Orders and customer data flow automatically when a purchase is made. Refund data creates credit notes. Payment provider settlements (payouts) are matched to invoices.

From Visma to ecommerce: Article data, prices, and stock levels flow back to keep your store updated. This prevents overselling and ensures consistent product information.

Configuration considerations

Account mapping. You need to configure which Visma accounts orders should post to. For EU cross-border sales, this includes OSS (One-Stop-Shop) mappings per country.

VAT handling. Standard Nordic VAT rates are typically pre-configured. Additional rates for other EU countries need to be added manually in Visma before the integration can use them.

Payment method mapping. Each payment gateway (Klarna, Adyen, Stripe, Swish) maps to a payment method in Visma. Correct mapping is important for reconciliation.

Stock sync direction. Typically Visma is the stock master — levels flow from Visma to the ecommerce platform. This can be configured per flow.

Getting started

Setup takes about 15 minutes for the connection itself. The configuration — account mapping, VAT rules, payment method matching — is where you invest the real time. Junipeer provides guided onboarding and support via chat and email.

For a detailed walkthrough of a similar setup, see the Fortnox ecommerce integration guide. The configuration patterns are similar across ERP systems.

Pricing: Visma.net connector starts at €324.50/month excl. VAT. Visma Business and Visma Business NXT are available on request.
