MCP for developer tools
Add Junipeer's remote MCP server to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI or VS Code with one command. Work with your clients' Fortnox, Klarna and Magento data, and the integrations between them, without leaving your editor.
- Streamable HTTP with OAuth
- One address for every system
- From €39/mo
How do I add Junipeer's MCP server to my coding tool?
Use the address . It's a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP, and you sign in with Junipeer through OAuth, so there's no key to paste.
claude mcp add --transport http junipeer https://api.junipeer.io/mcpWhat can developers and agencies do with it?
With Junipeer's MCP server in your coding tool, your AI agent can read a client's systems and integrations while you build, debug or set them up.
- System MCPInspect real data before you build.
Look at a client's Fortnox accounts, VAT codes and article structure, or their Magento attributes, instead of asking for exports.
- Workspace MCPDebug integrations from your terminal.
Ask why order 4512 didn't sync, read the logs and the task, and see which setting caused it.
- Workspace MCPChange settings and mappings with your agent.
Within the key's permissions, your agent can adjust mappings and schedules and re-run failed syncs, with every change recorded in the integration's history.
- System MCPCall a system's API without managing credentials.
System MCP gives your agent the system's API through Junipeer. The credentials stay with Junipeer and never land in your code or config.
Workspace MCP covers every integration in a workspace for €49/mo. A System MCP covers one system for €39/mo + €2 per 1,000 requests. Workspace MCP · All systems with MCP
Before you start: set up MCP in Junipeer
An owner of the Junipeer workspace does this once, in about two minutes. After that, any member can connect their own tool.
- 1
Add MCP to the workspace. In the Junipeer app, go to Integrations. Under Add an MCP server, click Browse MCP servers for one system, or click Enable under Workspace MCP for all integrations.
- 2
Switch on AI apps. Click your initials at the top right, choose My workspaces, and switch on AI apps (MCP) under the section named after your workspace.
- 3
Create a sign-in key. Click your initials → Account Settings → API keys → New API key → People sign in with it. Give it a name, such as "Claude Code". Under Apps that may sign in, keep Any app. Under Quick setup, choose a level in the AI assistant row: Look and explain, Also change settings, Also run jobs, or Also write to your systems. Start with Look and explain, then click Create API key.
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any app that signs in with OAuth

Stuck? These messages come from Junipeer during sign-in:
| Message | Fix |
|---|---|
| "This workspace has no MCP. Add Workspace MCP or an MCP server" | Add MCP under Subscriptions (step 1) |
| "AI apps are switched off for your workspace" | An owner switches them on under My workspaces (step 2) |
| "None of your workspaces has a key that lets this app sign in" | Create the key, or allow your tool under "Apps that may sign in" (step 3) |
| "Your account is not a member of the organisation this app belongs to" | Sign in with the right Junipeer account |
| "Your session ended" or "This request did not come from the consent page" | Start the sign-in again from your tool |
Every tool below then follows the same pattern: add the address, sign in with Junipeer in the browser, pick the key, click Allow.
Claude Code
Add Junipeer to Claude Code with one command, then sign in from inside Claude Code.
- 1.Run the command in your terminal.
- 2.Start Claude Code and type
/mcp. - 3.Select junipeer and choose to authenticate. Your browser opens: sign in with Junipeer, pick the key and click Allow.
- 4.Ask, for example: "Use Junipeer to list my integrations and their status."
Share it with your team: add --scope project to save the server in the project's .mcp.json. Each person still signs in with their own Junipeer account.
Stuck on this step?
Junipeer shows as not connected in `/mcp`: choose authenticate again and finish the browser sign-in.
Check the setup outside a session: claude mcp list shows every server and its status. claude mcp remove junipeer removes it, including its stored sign-in.
claude mcp add --transport http junipeer https://api.junipeer.io/mcpCodex (CLI, IDE extension and ChatGPT desktop app)
Add Junipeer to Codex with one command, then sign in with a second one. The Codex CLI, the IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share the same MCP settings, so you set it up once.
- 1.Run the first command to add the server. Always include
--url, so Codex treats it as a remote server. - 2.Run the second command. Your browser opens: sign in with Junipeer, pick the key and click Allow.
- 3.In Codex, type
/mcpto check that Junipeer is active, then ask, for example: "Use Junipeer to show the settings of my Shopify to Fortnox integration."
Stuck on this step?
Check the setup: codex mcp list shows every server and whether it's enabled.
Signed in, but no Junipeer tools appear: restart Codex and check /mcp again. If they still don't appear, run codex mcp logout junipeer and log in again.
codex mcp add junipeer --url https://api.junipeer.io/mcp
codex mcp login junipeer~/.codex/config.toml:[mcp_servers.junipeer]
url = "https://api.junipeer.io/mcp"Cursor
Add Junipeer to Cursor's MCP settings with the address, and Cursor runs the sign-in for you.
- 1.Open Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP and click New MCP Server. This opens
mcp.json. - 2.Add Junipeer with the snippet shown here.
- 3.Save. Back in Tools & MCP, Junipeer appears: click to connect. Your browser opens: sign in with Junipeer, pick the key and click Allow.
- 4.In Cursor's agent chat, ask, for example: "Use Junipeer to check which fields a Fortnox invoice has."
For one project only: put the same entry in .cursor/mcp.json in the project instead.
Stuck on this step?
If Junipeer shows an error or no tools in Tools & MCP, switch it off and on again, and finish the browser sign-in.

}Gemini CLI
Add Junipeer to Gemini CLI with one command. Gemini CLI detects that Junipeer uses OAuth and opens the sign-in for you.
- 1.Run the command in your terminal.
- 2.Start Gemini CLI. On first use your browser opens: sign in with Junipeer, pick the key and click Allow.
- 3.Type
/mcpto check that Junipeer is connected, then ask, for example: "Use Junipeer to list the failed tasks from yesterday."
Stuck on this step?
If the browser doesn't open, run /mcp auth junipeer inside Gemini CLI.

"junipeer": {
"httpUrl": "https://api.junipeer.io/mcp"

}GitHub Copilot in VS Code
Add Junipeer as an HTTP MCP server in VS Code, and use it from Copilot's agent mode.
- 1.Open the Command Palette and run MCP: Add Server.
- 2.Choose HTTP and paste . Name it junipeer.
- 3.Start the server when VS Code asks. Your browser opens: sign in with Junipeer, pick the key and click Allow.
- 4.Open Copilot Chat in agent mode and ask, for example: "Use Junipeer to show the mapping for payment methods in my Magento to Fortnox integration."
Stuck on this step?
MCP tools are only used in Copilot's agent mode. If Copilot doesn't use Junipeer, switch Copilot Chat to agent mode and check that Junipeer is enabled in the tools list.
This section covers GitHub Copilot, the developer tool. Microsoft Copilot in Microsoft 365 and Teams isn't tested with Junipeer yet.

}What do developers ask?
Once Junipeer is connected, ask your agent the way you'd ask a colleague who knows the client's setup.
Building and setting up
- “Which VAT codes and accounts does this Fortnox company use for sales?”
- “Which attributes does product JKT-001 have in Magento?”
- “Which payment methods does the shop use? Suggest how to map them to Fortnox terms of payment.”
Debugging
- “Why didn't order 4512 reach Fortnox? Show the log line.”
- “Which tasks failed in the last 24 hours, and where did each one stop?”
- “Compare the order in Shopify with what the integration sent to Fortnox.”
Changing
- “Add a mapping rule that sets the delivery method from the shipping title.”
- “Re-run the failed invoice sync for 8 October.”
Permissions, data and pricing
Your agent can only do what the API key allows, and the key's level is the hard limit: a "Look and explain" key can't change anything.
Junipeer marks every action as read-only or changing. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and VS Code can all be set to ask before they run an action, so keep approvals on for changing actions. Junipeer also instructs the agent to explain each change and wait for your yes.
You sign in with OAuth. The tokens for Fortnox, Klarna and other systems stay with Junipeer.
The MCP server has no database and no request logs.
