Workspace MCP
Let your AI assistant set up, check and fix your Junipeer integrations. Ask why an order didn't sync, and get the answer with the log line that proves it.
€49/mo per workspace. Add-on to your Junipeer integrations.
What is Workspace MCP?
Workspace MCP is a Junipeer add-on that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini manage your Junipeer integrations: set them up, explain their settings, find sync errors and re-run failed syncs. It costs €49 per month per workspace.
It works through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other software. Your AI assistant gets the same view of your integrations that you have in the Junipeer app: connections, settings, mappings, schedules, logs and tasks. What it may do with them is up to you.
You ask in plain language, in Swedish or English. The AI answers with the record and the evidence, not a guess.
What you can do with Workspace MCP
People use Workspace MCP for four jobs: setting an integration up, understanding it, fixing it and changing it.
Set up an integration with your own data
The AI reads recent records from your systems, with your permission, and proposes settings from what it finds. You confirm before anything goes live.
Understand what an integration does
Get a plain answer: what a setting does, what it's set to and where it lives.
Find and fix what went wrong
The AI checks the connection, the settings, the logs and the task, in that order, and tells you which system owns the problem.
Change settings and schedules
The AI tells you what a setting is now, what it would become and what that changes. Then it waits for your yes.
Who it's for
Workspace MCP answers each person at the depth they need, in their own words.
Shop staff
"The orders aren't going over"
what's wrong and what to do, in shop terms, with their own order number.
Finance and accounting
booked, paid, credit invoices, closed periods
the account and date logic, and confirmation that nothing was booked twice.
Agencies and developers
API calls, status codes, retries
the mechanism and the detail: the request, the response, the log line.
You decide what the AI may do
You set what the AI may do on the API key you create for it, in four levels. Start with level 1 and add more when you're ready.
Look and explain
read your integrations, settings and logs, and explain them.
Show why an order failed to sync, with the log entry.
Also change settings
everything in level 1, plus update settings, mappings and schedules.
Map a new payment method to a Fortnox account.
Also run jobs
everything in level 2, plus start and re-run syncs.
Re-run a failed sync for one order or a date range.
Also write to your systems
everything in level 3, plus create and change data in your connected systems.
Create a missing customer in Fortnox.
You also choose which AI apps may use the key, for example only Claude.
How it works
Your AI app connects to Junipeer, and Junipeer runs your integrations. The AI never gets direct access to your other systems or their credentials.
- 1.You ask a question in Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app.
- 2.The AI sends the request to Junipeer's MCP server, with the permissions of your API key.
- 3.Junipeer reads or changes your integration and returns the answer with the evidence.
The rules the AI follows
Workspace MCP comes with Junipeer's own instructions for how the AI should work with your integrations:
It checks the connection, settings, logs and tasks before it suggests anything.
For every change it says what the setting is now, what it would become, what that changes from now on and what it won't fix. Nothing changes until you say yes.
Running a job moves real data, so it reads first and asks before any write.
Often the cause is a missing VAT account in Fortnox or a setting doing exactly what it was set to, and it says so plainly.
If something needs Junipeer's developers, it says that instead of guessing.
In practice: three orders that never reached Fortnox
A webshop notices three Shopify orders missing in Fortnox. Here is how the conversation goes.
I checked the Shopify to Fortnox integration. It's connected, last ran 10 minutes ago, and there are no errors in the log.
Found it. The setting "Import only unfulfilled orders" is on. These three orders were already fulfilled when the sync ran, so they were skipped. The integration did exactly what it was set to do.
I can turn that setting off, so new orders come over whether they're fulfilled or not. The three skipped orders won't sync by themselves, so I'd also re-run them. Should I?
Done. The setting is off, and all three orders are now in Fortnox as invoices 10231, 10232 and 10233.
Solved in one conversation. The same check takes a person 20 minutes of clicking through settings and logs.
Workspace MCP or System MCP?
Workspace MCP is for your integrations; a System MCP is for the data in one system. Many customers use both.
| Workspace MCP | System MCP (e.g. Fortnox MCP) | |
|---|---|---|
| The AI works with | Your Junipeer integrations: settings, mappings, schedules, logs, syncs | One system's own data: invoices, customers, orders |
| Typical question | "Why didn't order 4512 sync?" | "Which invoices are overdue?" |
| Needs a Junipeer integration | Yes | No |
| Covers | Every integration in your workspace | One system |
| Price | €49/mo per workspace | €39/mo + €2 per 1,000 requests, per system |
Set up in four steps
Setup takes a few minutes and needs no code.
- 1Enable Workspace MCP.
In the Junipeer app, go to Integrations → Workspace MCP → Enable.
- 2Create an API key.
Choose the key type "People sign in with it" and pick what the AI may do: level 1 to 4.
- 3Choose which AI apps may sign in.
For example only Claude, or Claude and ChatGPT.
- 4Add Junipeer in your AI app.
Paste the Junipeer MCP address into your AI app's connector settings, sign in with Junipeer and approve.
Setup is the same in every AI app; only where you paste the address differs.
