What nShift MCP is
nShift MCP lets your AI assistant read and work with shipments in nShift. Connect nShift to Junipeer once, then add Junipeer as a connector in your AI app. Ask in plain language, and the AI fetches the answer straight from nShift.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other software. Junipeer hosts the connection to nShift, so you don't install, code or maintain anything.
What you can do
Warehouse and logistics
Check shipments without opening nShift.
Customer service
Answer delivery questions while the customer waits.
Developers and agencies
Look at real shipment data when you build or debug.
What your AI can work with
| Area | What AI can do |
|---|---|
| Shipments | Look up shipments, carriers, services and tracking numbers; book new shipments and labels. |
What's available depends on your nShift account and the permissions you grant when you connect.
How it works
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any MCP client
Checks the key and the app, then calls nShift
Your nShift data
- 1.You ask a question in your AI app.
- 2.Junipeer checks your API key and allowed apps, then calls the nShift API.
- 3.nShift returns the data, and your AI answers.
What keeps it safe
You choose what each API key may do.
Other apps can't use the key.
Each user signs in with Junipeer and approves access.
The AI app never sees your nShift login or tokens.
With read-only access, the AI can look but not change anything.
